Experience

Rebecca practices primarily in the area of Family Law. She was admitted to practice in Queensland in 2007. Initially practicing Criminal Law, Rebecca felt drawn towards Family Law and the possibility of helping clients through the often difficult world of a relationship breakdown.

Being highly motivated to assist clients through what can be a very foreign and emotional process, Rebecca’s priority is to achieve the best outcome for her clients whilst also supporting their wellbeing. Her focus is to understand the issue, simplifying the process, and to do her best to obtain the desired result. She appreciates that Family Law is a unique area to practice as you are dealing with individuals who are potentially going through a significant life change. Rebecca has extensive experience in assisting families through a variety of areas including separation, property settlement, children’s matters, divorce proceedings, Binding Financial Agreements, and Child Support matters.

As well as her work, Rebecca volunteers within her local community having experience with both legal centers and community led organisations. Rebecca also has experience assisting with Legal Aid matters in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Law, and Children’s matters. Rebecca always gives her full attention to the matter at hand, the objective at all times is to achieve the best outcome for her client whilst supporting them through the process from start to finish.
