Experience

Aisha joined Culshaw Miller Badenoch Lawyers in May 2023, and is currently in her final-year of a Bachelor of Laws at Australian Catholic University (ACU).

Since beginning her university studies, Aisha has taken a great interest in family law, and appreciates its complex and multi-faceted nature. She empathises with those that encounter the family law system, understanding that it is likely to be a uniquely stressful period for individuals and families. She assists lawyers at CMB Lawyers handle matters with care and diligence in order to achieve just and equitable outcomes for clients.

Aisha is also a volunteer paralegal at the Fitzroy Legal Service, assisting both lawyers and support staff within the Family Law and Family Violence Division. She assists clients who attend the Legal Service’s Divorce Clinic navigate their way through, and apply for, civil divorces via the Commonwealth Courts Portal. She takes great interest in helping individuals who would otherwise struggle to initiate a divorce, and who are often in high-risk situations of family violence
