Experience
Khushleen has been a part of the CMB for almost two years and was admitted to practice in June 2024 as a family lawyer. Prior to joining CMB, Khushleen interned at a Community Legal Centre in the divorce law division, working closely with vulnerable members of the community and reinforcing her commitment to supporting others. She has previously worked at a Family and Criminal Law firm in Melbourne, where she developed a passion to assist families and individuals dealing with complex family law and children’s matters.
Khushleen is an empathetic individual and a great problem solver, who strives to ensure that clients achieve the best possible outcomes during challenging situations. Khushleen acknowledges the importance of cultural values and practices that clients may hold, and that they may directly affect their interaction with family law issues and their day-to-day lives. She is passionate about engaging with clients in a meaningful way and understanding their unique needs.
Khushleen confidently supports her colleagues and seniors in assisting families and individuals with family law issues such as separation, property settlement, parenting & children’s matters, Application for Consent Orders, Binding Financial Agreements, Child Support matters and more.
Khushleen is a proud member of the Law Institute of Victoria, the Law Council of Australia (Family Law Section) and the Northern Suburbs Law Association.
